As a Volunteer
Cooking and sharing meals bring people together. Those who want to support us actively participate in a project. Last year, volunteers contributed over 7,000 working hours to our cause.
Would you like to become part of Cuisine sans frontières?
Are you looking for a way to connect with different people alongside your daily work? Would you like to learn something new? We offer you the opportunity to join others in promoting community and peace.
The forms of volunteer engagement at Cuisine sans frontières are diverse:
- You help at a cooking afternoon at the Federal Asylum Center in Zurich.
- You take responsibility for the cooking or logistics during our monthly events at the Federal Asylum Center in Zurich.
- As a gastronome, you introduce refugees to a specific area of the hospitality industry in a workshop and share your knowledge.
- You volunteer at the Kitchen Battle Tour in Zurich, Bern, or Lucerne in service, behind the bar, or as a cameraperson.
- You organize the Kitchen Battle together with your local organizing committee in Bern, Lucerne, or Zurich.
- You are part of our marketing group and represent Cuisine sans frontières at various stand actions throughout the year.
We announce volunteer opportunities abroad as needed through an internal posting in our volunteer pool. If you're interested, feel free to send us your CV at any time.
