Maybe you'd like to step up to the stove with your own team and take on the challenge of the surprise basket.
Or you'd rather support us behind the scenes as a volunteer, helping make Kitchen Battle possible year after year.
Without the countless hours contributed by volunteers, running these events simply wouldn't be possible.
There are plenty of different roles in all three cities. You can sign up directly via the form at the bottom of the page, where you'll also see the available time slots.
Cooking teams can register by email.
Set-up and take-down
Setting up in each of the three cities means there's plenty to do: putting up tables and chairs, assembling the screen, and stowing away deliveries. After the event, it's time to take everything down, do an inventory, and pack it all away again.
Day shift
During the event days, you make sure the cooking teams have everything they need: stocking shelves, bringing drinks and coffee into the kitchen, making sandwiches for the morning break, heating up lunch, keeping the backstage area tidy. So everyone can fully focus on the evening ahead.
Dishwashing
Each day, we need 4–5 people to handle the dishwashing. The big pots, containers, baking trays, and other kitchen utensils are washed continuously from 1 pm onwards, so the cooking teams always have what they need. During the evening event, the plates get washed, and at the end there's one last round of kitchen utensils to tackle.
Camera team
Each evening, we need three camera operators. No prior experience required – you'll be shown everything you need to know. What matters most is that you enjoy being part of Kitchen Battle.
Bar and wine service
For drink sales behind the bar, we need 2 people each evening who love chatting with guests and are warm and helpful. And for wine service directly at the tables, we're also looking for an absolute sales talent each evening.
Service team
Here you're right in the middle of the action – you can watch the chefs at work, have a little chat with the guests now and then, and even sample the food. As part of the service team, you'll carry the plated dishes from the kitchen to the guests. Hospitality experience is great, but you can absolutely manage without.
The following links take you directly to the registration forms. There you'll find all open shifts with their times and can sign up right away.
Thank you so much in advance for your valuable support.
