The outbreak of war in Ukraine in early 2022 forced hundreds of thousands to flee. Many, mostly women and children, moved westward, including to Romania, where the government was unprepared for the influx. The accommodation and provision of food for the refugees initially had to be organized by private initiatives.
Cuisine sans frontières was able to quickly establish a collaboration with the Romanian organization Asociatia Adi Hădean. Adi Hădean, a well-known chef, and his team distributed up to 4000 hot meals daily to refugees at various locations.

There is a war in Ukraine. Countless people are fleeing, and the situation of the civilian population is deteriorating by the day. The refugees want to leave the country and are streaming to the border crossings in the west.
Ukrainians, mostly women and children, reach the border areas of Romania every day. They are safe there, but how or where they will continue is uncertain for most of them.
Adi Hădean, a well-known cook and restaurateur from Romania, stands with his teams in various locations throughout the country, including Sighet, Botoșani, Iași, Bukarest and Constanța and distributes warm food to the arriving people. He is constantly mobilizing more cooks, every day at least 2000 meals can be distributed. If necessary, the number can be increased to 3000 to 4000 meals within a short time.
Cuisine sans frontières initiates the collaboration with Adi Hădean, who is also a member of the Social Gastronomy Movement. Csf mobilizes its network and provides financial and non-material support.
Currently a donation campaign is running in favor of this project. If you also want to support, you can do so here.
