Borbon is an Afro-American town on the border between Ecuador and Colombia and as a result has suffered heavily under the impact of the war on drugs in Colombia. The German charity Proyecto Vision is in the process of establishing a cultural centre in Borbon together with dedicated local helpers. Cuisine sans frontières participates by helping to set up a community kitchen.
In cooperation with Proyecto Vision we are furthermore support a music festival in Borbon and work with women from the community presenting their and our own culinary creations to the sound of local music groups.
